opportunity is for a Medical Lab Scientist to join their team as a
long-term addition to their group for a leading clinical health
care diagnostics company. Specializing in testing services
supporting hematology and specialty chemistry in Indianapolis! The
team is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to contribute long-term to
quality patient care. Responsibilities Determine the acceptability
of specimens for testing according to established criteria. Perform
routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to
departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Monitor, operate, and
troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality. Make
technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving. Prepare,
test, and evaluate new reagents or controls. Report accurate and
timely test results. Perform and document preventive maintenance
and quality control procedures. Identify and replenish testing
bench supplies as necessary. Assist with processing of specimens
when needed. Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate
personal protective equipment. Qualifications BS/AS Degree in
Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory
Science, OR Medical Laboratory Technology (No experience required
with these degrees). Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry,
Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related life science field AND 12
months of CLIA/CAP lab testing experience . Experience in
Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, and Immunochemistry. Additional
Skills & Qualifications ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
Instrument troubleshooting and calibration experience. Prior
validation experience. Proficient with computers and familiarity
with laboratory information systems. Ability to work independently
and within a team environment. High level of attention to detail
along with strong communication and organizational skills. Ability
to pass a standardized color vision screen. INTERESTED IN THIS

based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for
this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply
to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and
