Our client is a leader in the environmental services industry, serving millions of clients regionally. They operate thousands of fleet routes daily in partnership with a Fortune 500 company. They are hiring an outside sales representative as part of their overall growth strategy. The Outside Sales Representative will sell from an existing book of business. They will partner closely with other internal teams to provide the best-possible experience for the customer via delivery of excellent customer care and a strong knowledge of their robust and technical breadth of offerings. If you---re getting the job done, do what works for you to do it. Focus: Roughly 50% farming, 50% hunting. Going out in the field and performing a high-level of activity given a shorter sales cycle. Build relationships to supplement inside sales through quoting, processing orders, and acting as the POC for customers to interact with the company and services. Gather a strong understanding of current and potential client base and self-educate on competitors. Drive adoption and expansion of products by highlighting feature opportunities, winning use cases, and relevant strategies to customers. Proactively understand customer needs and align product and industry expertise to drive alignment on decisions that enhance customer value. Maintain consistent quota achievement by meeting or exceeding metrics. Use self-management skills to prioritize and structure activities. Skill Set: 3 years of experience in a related field. 2 years--- experience in environmental services or related field. Ability to look at customer needs and understand what can supplement/support their needs. Ideally coming from an environment that uses contracts --- uniform sales, denim, linen companies, etc. CRM software-based experience Ability to self-manage and have thick skin as well as a competitive edge. Proven sales acumen --- must be able to speak about technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences. Understanding of how to grow sales profitability in a competitive market. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Minimum of Associates Degree in a Business related field.
