As a member of the FUCHS Smart Services team, you will be part of an exciting new community focused on providing our customers with world class solutions that help push our customers forward.Your areas of responsibility:The Fluid Service Technician is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client--------s industrial fluids including coolants, oils, wash and waste fluids. This may include sampling, testing, fluid additions, changing, and care of any additional fluid related equipment such as filter systems or waste systems.Check and record system fluid levels. Collect data and samples from industrial fluid systemsConduct laboratory testing per procedures & making corrections based on testing resultsInput and communicate data including generating daily reportsFollowing procedures in operating fluid filtration and recycling equipmentParticipating in daily communication meetings with Supervisor and communicate effectively with the site leader and customerFollowing procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements.Make adjustments to fluid systems based on established procedures, maintaining the proper fluid level on each system at the customer siteAccurately record and report inventory levels of chemical products and weekly record keeping of waste levels and fluid tanksAdhere to all site and company safety regulations, policies and proceduresThis position is a full-time on-site role at our client's site in an industrial manufacturing facility.The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, mechanically inclined, good at managing own time and can follow procedures and policies.Qualifications we are looking for:Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting OR machine shop environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in an industrial environmentMechanical aptitude is an assetStand for the majority of a shift for approximately 4-8 hours with moderate to considerable physical activityLift a minimum of 50-lbs as neededBend/ crouch/ stoop/ dip on a regular basis in order to collect samplesWear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Basic computer knowledge and ability to navigate the internet and emailThese are your benefits: Fuchs offers a challenging and rewarding working environment where employees are encouraged to develop and grow as professionals.
