The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Staying abreast of general security techniques and notions
• Construct both internal and external facing reports for a variety of audience to aid digestion of complex security ideas
• Assist in creation of security centric firmware, hardware and software modules
• Design and implement testing frameworks, assisting core developers
• Network administration
• Workstation Upkeep
• Various types of documentation (e.g., policies and guides)
• Assistance of procurements for infrastructure (i.e., equipment) POSITION REQUIREMENTS The candidate must possess the ability to work easily with interdisciplinary teams both in and outside of the organization. The ideal applicant will have extensive knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:
  • Software engineering principles
  • Programming and scripting languages (C, Python, Bash)
  • Hardware development environments
  • Software & hardware testing framework design
  • UNIX system administration (BSD/Linux)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers The candidate will do well do have the following experience and/or qualifications:
    • Undergraduate degree in relevant field or Industry work experience, e.g., 2+ years
