The Assistant Care Coordinator works with the RN Coordinator to ensure the residents of Bickford receive superior quality care, Bickford's processes are followed, and regulatory compliance is maintained. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner - Assist in the management of caregivers to ensure the principles of assisted living and Bickford's culture are intergrated into all aspects of resident care - Maintain regulatory compliance - Ensure the residents' nutritional needs are met while providing a pleasurable dining experience - Answer questions and aid residents, families, and visitors - Ensure tasks are completed to meet all resident needs - Manage supplies and equipment to avoid loss, breakage, and waste
- Providing direct resident care
- Supervision of resident care work of non-licensed team members in the skilled nursing operations and other areas throughout the community as appropriate - Know the unique interests of residents and encourage/assist them to participate in activities to meet their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
- In accordance with federal, state and local standards and Bickford Senior Living policies, you will be a leader in demonstrating the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' Qualifications:
- High School / GED or one year in related experience - RN or LPN license
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications Bickford considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
