We are currently seeking an experienced Personnel Specialist to
provide administrative support at our South Bend branch location in
Indiana. The Personnel Specialist will perform tasks in human
resources, personnel file management, administrative assistance,
benefits administration and any other related work..
Office hours/work hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9:00AM -

Coordinate orientation for new employees, administer pre-employment
tests and conduct reference checks
Assemble new-hire files and complete weekly new-hire reports
Maintain human resources information system records, compile
reports from the database and update records, as needed
Complete Employment Verifications
Assist employees with the benefits enrollment process, including
providing an explanation of benefits guide and coverage, completing
applications and entering payroll deductions
Handle worker's comp claims process, complete report of injury
forms, gather supporting documentation, complete FROIs and submit
Manage incoming phone calls and provide information to external
Complete all change of status forms and manage employee statuses in
Collect all CPR money and log payments
Notify payroll of employee payroll adjustments
Enter and file timesheets
High school diploma or GED
Some college-level education preferred
At least one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant, HR
Assistant or in a relevant role that included clerical and/or
Professional oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Valid driver's license
Access to insured and reliable transportation
