Perform all tasks and duties necessary to support Site Service Incineration Operations. This responsibility includes managing fume, liquid waste and solid waste receipts and incineration systems in a safe, environmentally responsible and efficient manner.


* Follows written and verbal direction, understands what is meant and will recommend changes when appropriate. * Knowledgeable in and applies processes, job aids, manuals, and templates necessary to perform role. * Constructively questions processes procedures, and recommends alternatives. * Can successfully perform nearly all technical procedures within area of responsibility. * Effectively communicates/interacts with customers outside of department. * Obtains certification and demonstrates proficiency in the Site Services area assigned. * Successfully learn and achieve certification in Hazardous Waste Combustor Maximum Achievable Control Technology (HWC MACT). * Upon completion of HWC MACT certification, be proficient in: * Regulatory requirements. * Environmental concerns and measures put into place to address them. * Incineration principles and policies. * Operation of air pollution control systems. * Incinerator operations. * Controlling and monitoring of incinerator operations. * Inspection and maintenance.


* High School Diploma or equivalent. * Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance on a routine basis. * Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Able to ascend/descend stairs. * Able to enter confined space for internal inspection. * Able to work in a high noise/high temperature environment. * Must be able to work 12- hour shifts, days or nights
