Infrastructure Overview Our client is seeking a Desktop Deployment
Technician who will play a critical role in ensuring that our
client's desktop and laptop environment is up-to-date, secure, and
efficient. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deploy desktops and
laptops for end-users, including imaging, configuration, and
testing. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems,
software applications, and hardware components. Perform upgrades
and patches to operating systems, applications, and hardware as
required. Provide technical support to end-users on desktop-related
issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving
problems. Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure that desktops
and laptops are integrated into our overall network infrastructure.
Document procedures and guidelines related to desktop deployment
and support. Participate in special projects and initiatives
related to desktop deployment and support as required.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology or a related field is preferred Minimum of 2 years of
experience with desktop deployment, hardware and software
configuration, installation, and testing Experience with with
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is a
client-based product that enables administrators to manage a large
number of Windows-based computers Experience with PXE (Preboot
Execution Environment) boot image Strong technical knowledge of
desktop and laptop hardware and software, including Windows
operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and anti-virus software.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work
independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. BONUS:
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools is a plus. Experience
