Job Title: Hardware Product Manager – Workforce Productivity Services Join the Workforce Productivity Services organization as a Hardware Product Manager to lead operations and innovation for the enterprise. Join the Workforce Productivity Services (WPS) End User Compute team as a strategic Hardware Product Manager, where you will drive innovation and business enablement across our hardware ecosystem. This pivotal role is essential in shaping our modern device strategy, focusing on forward thinking solutions, identifying and creating operational efficiencies, and delivering business enabling hardware offerings that empower our workforce globally. What You’ll Be Doing: The Hardware Product Manager will act as the voice of the customer, owning the vision, strategy, and capability roadmap for end user hardware for the enterprise. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the hardware offerings globally continues to meet evolving business needs by working closely with your team & key stakeholders, such as Cybersecurity, Legal, Manufacturing & Quality, and Lilly Research Labs. You will oversee vendors and contracted resources to ensure successful execution of operational activities and project deliverables. As an ideal candidate, you should have a strong technical background in enterprise hardware services, familiarity with SAFe Agile best practices, a focus on collaboration, and an ability to drive strategic improvements throughout the organization. How You’ll Succeed: Own and evolve the product roadmap for end user hardware and accessories/peripherals by incorporating key stakeholder requirements and end user needs Develop and evaluate the effectiveness of processes related to hardware product management such as product identification, product testing and validation, and product life cycle management Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise hardware offerings and ensuring compatibility with business productivity solutions Lead end user research and stakeholder engagement to define product features and prioritize value delivery Advocate for investment by developing business cases and communicating product value and impact Continuously assess industry trends and emerging technologies to inform roadmap decisions Drive alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards Collaborate with Windows and Apple Product Managers to define end user device strategy and influence model specification decisions What You Should Bring: Proven experience managing end user compute devices for an enterprise Familiarity with SAFe Agile or other scaled Agile methodologies Strong understanding of enterprise device management solutions Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate technical requirements into strategic initiatives and vice versa Experience managing a hardware catalog and business-related accessories and peripherals Familiarity with digital employee experience (DEX) tools and measuring hardware related KPIs Experience managing vendor relationships and driving work across global teams Experience managing life cycle management solutions in an enterprise environment Experience with Windows and macOS hardware offerings Relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PMPO), ITIL 4 Foundation, or similar) are preferred, but not required Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience as an IT professional 5 years of experience in product management or IT strategy, preferably with direct experience in enterprise hardware product management Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The anticipated wage for this position is $123,000 - $180,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
