This position offers competitive compensation, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, block scheduling, and long-term career growth within an integrated acute-care hospital system. Position Overview Permanent, full-time role Evening shift 7 on / 7 off block schedule Inpatient hospital-based position Integrated clinical and verification responsibilities Shift Details Full-Time 7 consecutive evening shifts Followed by 7 consecutive days off Block scheduling for improved work-life balance Compensation & Incentives Salary range: $111,009.60 – $166,524.80 annually (based on experience) $20,000 sign-on bonus (paid at hire with 2-year commitment) Comprehensive benefits package 403(b) retirement plan with employer match PTO starting day one Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually Career advancement opportunities Key Responsibilities Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety Adjust medication therapy per hospital-approved protocols (renal dosing, therapeutic interchanges, IV-to-PO conversions) Verify IVPBs, LVPs, parenteral nutrition, oral dosage forms, injectables, and topicals Provide drug information to physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Participate in quality initiatives and pharmacy administration projects Support safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use across the hospital Requirements PharmD required Licensed or eligible for Indiana pharmacist licensure ASHP residency or equivalent experience preferred Board certification preferred when eligible Strong communication skills Ability to work a consistent evening rotation Why This Opportunity This role is ideal for a pharmacist seeking stable hospital-based practice with predictable block scheduling.
