Job Description Locums | Physician - Infectious Disease | Clinic Call | Indianapolis, IN (IMLC accepted) Why This Role Full-time locum coverage for maternity/paternity leave at a Level 1 Trauma Center Inpatient setting with no admissions required Work alongside a dedicated team including RN, MA, and APP support Assignment Details Dates: 12/1/2025 - 6/30/2026 Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours plus call Patients per shift: 15 Call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month; beeper call; 30-minute response time EMR: Cerner Clinical Details Required skills: Microscopic specimen evaluation, management of vascular access devices/central venous catheters, familiarity with IV medications, aspiration of abscess, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis Not required: Central line placement, intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents, liver biopsy Requirements Board eligible or board certified in Infectious Disease Fellowship in Infectious Disease Active IN license or IMLC BLS certification Skills Needed Microscopic specimen evaluation Management of vascular access devices/central venous catheters Familiarity with intravenous medications Aspiration of abscess Arthrocentesis Lumbar puncture Thoracentesis Compensation Info Rates: Not published - facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided and paid for by Archway Locums Travel Expenses: Reimbursed
