Veteran Health Indiana is actively seeking an excellent Cardiac Surgeon to join our growing program in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Selected candidate may be considered for a faculty appointment and potential dual employment at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Position highlights: High quality, patient-focused Cardiovascular Service line Supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers Outstanding performance reported by VASQIP, the VA's counterpart, comparable to other national databases Collaborative Structural Heart Program Opportunity for teaching and academic appointment Potential for part-time and/or flexible work schedule Located in vibrant and affordable Indianapolis, Indiana Sign on bonus opportunity and may qualify for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period) VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible up to 5 day paid absence for CME.
