Job Description:
Carle Health, a leading provider in community-based healthcare,
seeks a dedicated Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our growing team
of health professionals. This role involves working directly with
patients to prevent, diagnose, and treat muscle and bone injuries
and illnesses. As an ATC at Carle Health, you will be integral in
deploying our commitment to advanced medical treatments and
research, with a strong focus on improving patient health outcomes.
You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to
deliver comprehensive rehabilitation and conditioning programs that
cater to the needs of our diverse community populations. Evaluate
patients' health conditions through physical examinations and
patient histories. Develop and implement rehabilitation programs
for injury management and prevention. Educate patients and the
community on injury prevention and health maintenance. Coordinate
with physicians and healthcare staff to provide integrative
treatment plans. Document patient care and progress, maintaining
comprehensive medical records. Stay updated with advancements in
the field and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient
care. Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology
Proficient in using therapeutic modalities and exercises for
rehabilitation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle emergency situations with calm and precision
Efficient organizational and documentation skills Medical Insurance

Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of Certification for the
Athletic Trainer License to practice in the applicable state CPR
