Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health. • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health. Additional Details: Will take MS/Tele or PCU RNs References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Oncology, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Additional Skills, Amio and cardizem drip, Post watchman and ablation Preferred Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Central line care/management, Titrate Cardiac drips, Monitoring Chemotherapy, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID Unit/Facility Details: Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patient with some PCU level of care patients. We are also the oncology and stroke unit. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients 1:3-4 Parking Cost: Free Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12, Every Other Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position.
