Opportunity Overview We are looking for a Transplant Nephrologist
to join our team, focusing on both adult and pediatric patients
undergoing kidney transplants at various stages of their journey.
This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient care, the
education of medical residents and fellows, and the chance to
engage in research within an academic health environment. The
position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and offers a
well-structured work schedule along with a guaranteed salary for
the first 24 months, as well as visa sponsorship. Our collaborative
and highly skilled nephrology team is eager to welcome a new
Transplant Nephrologist as an academic clinician. Our specialists
assist patients with end-stage kidney disease, guiding them through
every aspect of the transplant process. We handle a significant
number of kidney transplants, ranging from routine cases to the
most intricate procedures. Additionally, we operate a living kidney
donation program for those wishing to donate to someone they know
or anonymously. Notably, our transplant program has been performing
kidney transplants for over 50 years, averaging more than 200
transplants annually, which accounted for 73% of all kidney and
kidney/pancreas transplants in the state in 2019. Primary
Responsibilities: Provide care for nephrology patients before and
after kidney, pancreas, or liver transplants. Conduct inpatient
rounds and manage outpatient and outreach clinics. Hold a faculty
position with the Indiana University School of Medicine, with
responsibilities to educate residents and fellows, along with
opportunities for research involvement. Position Highlights: Enjoy

on-call responsibilities. Focus primarily on outpatient care at our
Academic Health Center, with 1-2 outreach clinics each month.

potential to transition to a production-based model in the third

Qualifications: Completion of fellowships in Nephrology and
Transplant Nephrology. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Nephrology
and Transplant Nephrology. Both new graduates and seasoned
physicians are encouraged to apply. Must hold an MD/DO and be
licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana. Visa sponsorship is
