Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location:
Indianapolis, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,121 per week Shift
Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months required in a
relevant area. License: Must have active RN license.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required. Must-Have: Strong cardiac
and post-op heart experience. Experience with telemetry, IV start,
and cardiac drips. Level I or Level II trauma experience.
Description: Travelers are expected to work every other weekend as
per their contract. Consecutive weekends may be needed based on
operational needs. Charge nurse responsibilities may be required
pending operational needs. Travelers must float to different levels
of care as needed. Refusal to float may result in contract
termination. The patient-to-nurse staffing ratio is between 1:3-5
based on acuity. Patients include those post-cardiac and
post-vascular surgery. Candidates must be proficient in managing
multiple drips. VAD patients will not be assigned to travelers.
First-time travelers are accepted with prior PCU experience up to a
ratio of 4. All travelers are required to comply with floating
policies within the hospital. Medical or religious exemptions for
vaccinations may be provided with documentation. Travelers must
have strong cardiac PCU skills with drip titration experience.
