Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Hematology/ Oncology provider to work locum shifts in Lafayette Indiana (IN). Starting January, 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. HEM/ONC Role: OUTPATIENT CLINIC SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 36 hours of patient care / ambulatory clinic coverage per week Flexible scheduling available between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM HOSPITAL CALL COVERAGE: Call rotation every 4th or 5th week One full week at a time Expected hospital visits: Weekdays (M–F) for new consults Saturday and/or Sunday for rounding only PRACTICE MODEL: Primary focus on outpatient care On-call Provider handles new consults at the hospital Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated PATIENT MIX: 70% Oncology 30% Hematology (primarily benign cases) Requirements of the role: IN state license; active, unrestricted Board certified Certifications- BLS or ACLS 2 years of experience Benefits : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
