Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: 2 years License: ARRT License, ISDH Tech License Certifications: ARRT-MR Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of MRI Technologist experience. ARRT License. ISDH Tech License. Ability to perform all routine MRI procedures on GE MRI scanner. Description: The purpose of this unit profile is to provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Unit has a total of 225 beds. Patient ratios include 2 Technologists on dayshift for 14 MRI patients, 1 Technologist during evening shift for 7 MRI patients, and 1 Technologist on weekends for 12 MRI patients. The equipment utilized is a GE 450W MRI 1.5T. The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC. The ideal candidate is a proficient Technologist who is motivated to work in a team atmosphere. Candidates should be dedicated to completing requested imaging exams in a timely fashion. Willingness to fill in for various shifts if staffing issues arise in the department is preferred. Dress code requires scrub color to be charcoal gray. No unacceptable attire is specified. No education modules are required prior to the first day.
