• Certification Details
• Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Color Blind Testing, Unit Competency Exam and various other certifications as applicable.
  • Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a bill rate bump per hour
  • First Time travelers Accepted: Yes
  • Shift Requirements: 3x12s, every other weekend required
  • Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS required
  • Skillset Requirements: Telemetry and IV Start required
  • Floating Requirements: YES
  • Minimum Experience Required: 18 months
  • Department Details:
  • Unit Information: 1:6 ratio
  • Medical-Surgical: Majority are medical patients (COPD exacerbation, PNA, COVID-19, chest pain, small bowel obstruction, etc. Small surgical case load (roughly 1-3 post-surgical cases/day) including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy.
