- Job Details
- Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at
their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
- The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows
them to finish a contract by 11/30).
- Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt
from this rule.
- These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30
deadline.
- Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
- IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill
rate bump per hour.
- 1st Timer: OK.
- Minimum Experience - 18 months
- Charge Experience preferred.
- Ratios: 1:6-7.
- Weekend: Every other required.
- Skills Required: MedSurg/Tele; Interpretation of dysrhythmias,
peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, starting IVs; insulin,
nasal cannula; isolation precautions.
- Skills Preferred: Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin
protocols, colostomy care, blood product administration, PICC line
management, CVA, traumatic brain injury, surgical drains,
CPAP/BiPAP.
- Documentation: Cerner Required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH.
- Patient Diagnoses: -One specific problem that requires acute
management: Alert and oriented, ambulatory, stable vitals, goal
discharge of 24-78hrs, Post operative patients, Chest pain,
Abdominal pain, Allergic RX, Asthma, Cellulitis, COPD-exacerbation,
CHF, Headache, Minor TBI, Dehydration/vomiting or diarrhea;
Pneumonia.

- Additional Details
- Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear
copy.
- AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.

- Complete the facility specific forms as a priority.
- Proof of valid auto insurance required for all travelers under
Hospice specialty.
