Edgemont Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana.Job Description & Requirements

  Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30)
  
  HARD STOP: RNs with INDIANA DRIVER'S LICENSE ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY THE HOSPITAL.
  
  First Time travelers Accepted: Yes
  Shift Requirements: 4x12s or 3x12s, every other weekend required
  Certification Requirements: ACLS, and BCLS required
  Skillset Requirements: Telemetry and IV Start required
  Floating Requirements: YES
  Minimum Experience Required: 18 months
  Department Details:
  Unit Information: 1:6 ratio
  Medical-Surgical: The majority are medical patients (COPD exacerbation, PNA, COVID-19, chest pain, small bowel obstruction, etc. Small surgical caseload (roughly 1-3 post-surgical cases/day) including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy.
