Job Description Job Description Job Title: Security Technician Job Description A rapidly growing security solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled Security Technician with extensive experience in both installation and advanced programming of electronic security systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned technician capable of independently installing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems from leading manufacturers such as Bosch, Resideo, Honeywell, and DMP. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling complex projects involving access control, intrusion detection, and surveillance system integration. Responsibilities Install and service security systems such as burglar alarms, CCTV, access control systems, DVRs, and other integrated security equipment. Configure and troubleshoot networked security devices and NVR/DVR systems. Perform system upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Essential Skills Installation experience of 3 years. Experience with access controls, CCTV, and burglar alarms. Commercial security experience. Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with systems from Bosch, Resideo, Honeywell, and DMP. Work Environment Technicians will work in commercial environments such as office buildings, warehouses, retail spaces, and large venues. The job may involve elevated work up to 30 feet depending on the setting. Employees are provided with a company vehicle for travel across Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Service Technicians may participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Fishers, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr. Many of the companies Project Managers started out as technicians with the company.
