Changing Lives. /n What You’ll DO: /n /n - Deliver high quality member experiences through safe, effective and motivational classes. /n - Demonstrate proper yoga poses with precise alignment using correct terminology, safely guiding students through the flow of the practice. /n - Promote the history, knowledge and philosophy of yoga and mindfulness. /n - Increase attendance through knowledge, skill and emotional connection. /n - Willing to teach at least two classes a week. /n - Create community through positive interactions before and after class. /n - Address member concerns or direct to appropriate club management. /n - Report equipment maintenance needs to club management. /n - Drive excitement for classes and recruit members to join. /n - Secure appropriate substitutes to ensure class coverage, per Edge policies and procedures. /n - Maintain a growing social media presence to attract new participants to classes, special events, etc. /n - Read staff communications and attend staff meetings on occasion as required. /n - Maintain a professional attitude toward responsibilities, fellow instructors, club staff and members. /n - Adhere to Group Fitness policies and procedures. /n - Support and articulate the Edge Fitness mission statement. /n - Maintain a healthy way of life. /n /n What You’ll Need: /n /n - 6 months experience teaching yoga /n - 200 RYT (Yoga Alliance) preferred /n - Willing to acquire and maintain current CPR/AED certification /n - Must be outgoing, energetic and able to perform in front of an audience /n - Must have access to regular email and phone communication /n - Must have excellent interpersonal skills /n - Knowledge of safe yoga techniques and ability to demonstrate them /n
