Job Description Job Description Job Title: Painter Job Description Join our team as a Painter in a dynamic manufacturing facility. You will operate a spray painter in an industrial setting, meticulously painting both components and finished products before they are dispatched to customers. Your role involves mixing paint to specifications, ensuring complete coverage in the spray booth, and efficiently moving painted units out of the booth. Responsibilities Operate a spray painter to apply paint on components and finished products. Mix paint according to specified requirements. Ensure complete coverage of units in the spray booth. Transport products to and from the paint booth using a forklift or pallet jack. Essential Skills 2 years experience in spray painting within an industrial setting. Proficiency in mixing paint. Experience with material handling using a forklift or pallet jack. Ownership of steel-toed boots. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in paint preparation. Work Environment Work a consistent schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional shifts on Friday. The facility is equipped with the latest spray painting technology, ensuring a safe and efficient work process. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
