This position will develop, implement, and administer competitive pay structures and compensation plans that attract and retain top talent. Reporting the Associate Director, Total Rewards, this position is a thought partner in developing and improving compensation structures, policies, and incentive programs. This position works closely with the Total Rewards team, HR Leaders and Business Partners, Recruiting teams and Business Leaders to solve compensation-related business problems. This position will combine data and feedback from Leaders and HR partners with the latest industry research, and will make large-scale, data-driven decisions that impact employees in a meaningful way. This position also develops and analyzes reports related to all forms of employee compensation, demographics, turnover, and other HR related areas and then uses this data to recommend a course of action. Essential Duties and Responsibilites: * Establishes good working relationships and provide compensation support to Business Leaders, Total Rewards team, HR Leaders and Partners and Recruiting team to better understand the compensation needs within the organization and provide solutions and recommendations * Manage salary survey participation and market review, compensation data audits, validation, benchmarking and recommending additional compensation data sources * Manage vendor-based applications and utilize market data by analyzing salary survey results to benchmark positions, recommend salary grades and compensation, and create and maintain compensation structures * Be a thought partner to our Total Rewards and Analytics team on various ongoing compensation and data analysis projects including but not limited to salary structures, base pay programs, market trends and data, short term incentives, long term incentives, sales incentives, reporting and HR data structure and analysis, and compensation program competitiveness * Assist with reviews related to compliance with federal and state government regulations regarding pay, including the FLSA statute * Partner with our Total Rewards, HR Analytics, and Finance teams to gather information and help tell the story with numbers * Manage data integrity in HR and Compensation systems by maintaining accurate job and compensation information * Provide long-term incentive / equity support by working directly with vendors, planning for transactions, running reports and validating transactions * Partners with Manager and Total Rewards team on annual compensation budget and planning process * Partners with Manager and Total Rewards team on annual merit process, short and long term incentive administration and management, equity award administration and management, compensation promotion, market and salary adjustment processes, and position evaluations Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (required) College Degree Major Desired: Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or any related degree (preferred) Knowledge, Training, Skills and/or Experience: * Strong knowledge of HR and Compensation Systems * Working knowledge of Market Data and Survey providers, such as Radford (Aon Hewitt), Mercer, PayFactors, PayScale, etc. * Demonstrated analytical skills with a passion for data analysis and storytelling * Highly organized, detailed, and result focused with ability to meet timelines * Ability to conduct research, formulate conclusions and present recommendations and solutions to Business and HR leaders * Ability to lead and own projects, or pieces of projects * 3+ years of compensation experience, with solid experience in multiple compensation areas, such as base pay programs, compensation structure development, market data analysis and benchmarking, short term incentives, long term incentives, sales incentives, global compensation and equity compensation * Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, nested functions, charts/graphs, etc.) * Strong experience with Compensation and HR Systems Certifications, Licenses: * HR Certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred * Compensation certification, or some coursework towards certification a plus (CCP) preferred Equal opportunity employer.
