We are seeking a strategic and accomplished Vice President of
Finance and Administration to join our executive leadership team.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive financial oversight,
ensure operational efficiency, and foster organizational growth.
This pivotal role involves managing financial strategies, grant
compliance, budgeting, and leading administrative functions to
support our company's mission and vision. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies
that align with our company's short-term and long-term goals.
Monitor financial performance, analyze trends, and provide
actionable insights to the executive team.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process,
monitor budget adherence, and provide accurate financial forecasts.
Implement cost-effective measures to optimize resource
allocation.
- Grant Compliance: Oversee compliance with federal, state, and
organizational regulations for grant funding. Collaborate with
internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely
submissions.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline administrative processes,
enhance operational efficiency, and identify areas for improvement
across various departments.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance and
administrative teams, fostering professional growth and
collaboration. Delegate responsibilities effectively and provide
ongoing guidance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely, accurate, and
comprehensive financial reports to the executive team, board of
directors, and other stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong
relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including
government officials, partners, vendors, and community
leaders.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management
strategies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory
requirements. Mitigate financial and operational risks through
proactive measures.
- Technology and Systems: Oversee the implementation and
maintenance of finance and administrative systems, ensuring data
accuracy, security, and streamlined processes.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Collaborate with the executive team
to make informed strategic decisions based on financial analysis,
market trends, and industry insights.
- Organizational Development: Contribute to the company's growth
initiatives by participating in the development of new programs,
partnerships, and regional expansion plans. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
Administration, or a related field; Master's degree and CPA
designation preferred.
- Proven track record of 8+ years in progressively responsible
finance and administration roles, with at least 3 years in an
executive leadership capacity.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets ranging
from $500K to $2+ million.
- In-depth knowledge of grant compliance at federal and state
levels.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of successfully
managing and mentoring teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation
abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including
government officials, boards, and community leaders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges,
identify opportunities, and drive organizational growth.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced MS
Excel skills.
